Mini Cake Tins!!!
Couldn't load pickup availability
FINALLY!!
These have been a big project, all starting from a CAD drawing based off my original mini tins that I bought 10 years ago and have been unable to find the same shape since then, so I manufactured my own!
The shipping is annoyingly expensive but just remember these tins will last you forever. Literally a one time purchase.
NOTE: there is a maximum of x24 per order for shipping costs. Email if you need more hello@michellemorfett.com :)
Things to know about them:
- they prefer to be hand washed. if you put them in the dishwasher they will change colour a little bit (same as a big cake tin would reacting with the dishwash soap) they are all good still just look different.
- they ARE NOT non stick! The reason why they last so long. I like to set up my tins and give them a good spray with cooking spray (my favourite is Sprink) make my cake batter and then go back and do one more spray just before I put the batter in my tins.
- One batch of my vanilla cake recipe makes 12 mini cakes. I use a 90ml retractable ice cream scoop to get the filling in (green handle size if you buy online, for some reason they sell the different sizes by handle colour)
- Put all of the mini tins onto one big tray to get them in and out of the oven.
If you want to purchase them instore from Mint Cakery - 92d Marua Road, Ellerslie, Auckland NZ you can buy them individually and they are $6 each.
You can purchase in either x12 or x24. If you would like more than that you have to do multiple orders.
